I am a technology professional with 15 years in IT and a 20-year advocate for Free and Open Source Software (FOSS). My journey has taken me from supporting critical infrastructure at major banks and hospitals to working at Red Hat, where I specialized in systemd support.
Driven by a desire to help people escape the grip of Big Tech, I founded BT Free (Big Tech Free), a 501(c)(3) public charity. Our mission is to educate folks on the dangers of centralized platforms and provide viable, open alternatives. I am primarily focused on the Fediverse, building open platforms where people can join, create, share, and even learn to run their own instances.
